If you want one box that cleans and protects, the best documented set is the Jason Markk Care Kit : a 7 oz foam cleaner, a 2 oz Repel protector, a soft brush and three Quick Wipes, per Jason Markk’s page. The Crep Protect Gift Pack is the biggest set. The SNEAKER LAB kit adds a deodorizer in small bottles, and the Sof Sole x Skechers kit has the lowest usual price of the four.

1. Jason Markk Care Kit: best documented set
Jason Markk’s kit page lists “1 7 oz Ready-To-Use Foam Cleaner,” “1 2 oz Repel,” “1 Premium Cleaning Brush (AKA Delicates Cleaning Brush)” and “3 Quick Wipes.” It says the foam and brush can clean “delicate materials such as, but not limited to, premium leather, suede, nubuck, cotton and knits.”
On the protector, the page says “Our water-based Repel formula is VOC-free and does not contain PFAS, PFOA or PFCs (forever chemicals),” and warns “(Not recommended for unsealed leather or vegetable tanned leather).” The Amazon listing adds that Jason Markk does not recommend cleaning unsealed or painted leather, and that dyed suede “could bleed with any water contact.” Jason Markk’s separate Quick Wipes page says “Do not use Quick Wipes on suede or nubuck,” so skip the three wipes on those uppers.
2. Crep Protect Gift Pack: biggest set
Crep Protect’s page lists a “200ml Protector Spray,” “200ml Cure Solution,” “x1 Premium Sneaker Brush,” “x1 Microfibre cloth” and “x 12 Sneaker Cleaning Wipes.” The Amazon listing describes the spray as 5 oz, so check the size on the listing before you buy.
Crep Protect’s page for the pack lists no materials or spray duration. For the spray on its own, the maker says it “Protects Leather, Nubuck, Suede & Canvas” and forms “an invisible, hydrophobic layer for up to 4 weeks of durable protection.” That is a figure for the standalone spray, not a promise for this pack. The wipes in the box come with the maker’s own warnings: not recommended on suede and nubuck, and they remove spray protection (“Once dry, we advise reapplying the Spray after using Crep Protect Wipes”). 3. SNEAKER LAB kit: best small-bottle set with a deodorizer
The maker’s page (thelab.care) says the kit “Includes Sneaker Cleaner, Odor and Sneaker Protectors, and a Premium Brush,” and calls it “Safe to use on most materials.” It describes the cleaner as “suitable for use on a variety of fabrics without compromising their integrity, including suede and nubuck,” and the protector as water-based, “preserving the colour and texture of most fabrics” and guarding “against liquids and stains.” The page adds “May cause eye irritation on contact. Keep out of reach of children.”
The maker’s page gives no bottle sizes or protector directions. The Amazon listing gives 1.7 oz bottles and says they meet carry-on liquid limits, which makes this the set for a gym bag or a trip.
4. Sof Sole x Skechers kit: lowest usual price
Sof Sole’s page for its own Sneaker Care Kit lists a 4 fl oz cleaner, a 4 fl oz “Shoe Shield Waterproofer,” a 4 fl oz freshener and a brush, and says “Waterproofer helps repel stains.” The Amazon listing is the Skechers co-branded version, with an Instant Cleaner, Refresh Deodorizer, Water Proofer and brush in 4 oz pump-spray bottles. It was sold by Amazon.com when checked.
Sof Sole’s page lists no materials, directions or cautions. Read the labels on the bottles, and test a hidden spot first on suede, nubuck and dyed leather.
How to choose
- Look at the protector first. It is the reason to buy a set. All four name a protector or waterproofer; read the maker’s material limits before you spray anything on suede, nubuck or unsealed leather.
- Count what you will use. Wipes are for touch-ups, and the soft brush is for delicate uppers. If you only need the protector, a single spray costs less; see our waterproof spray picks .
- Check the contents on the listing. Kit contents can differ between a maker’s page and the listing (the Crep Protect spray size does), so confirm what is in the box you are buying.
